Today, February 25, 2025, we successfully conducted an Advanced Training on Digital Media as part of our efforts to enhance public engagement and strengthen media capacity to be impactful, transparent, and aligned with digital transformation.
Digital media plays a crucial role in raising public awareness, amplifying citizens’ voices, and ensuring accountability. Therefore, this training focused on:
✅ The role of digital media in strengthening public participation.
✅ Proper use of social media to deliver accurate and impactful information.
✅ Enhancing video and audio editing skills to produce high-quality reports.
✅ Preventing the spread of misinformation and building a reliable digital reputation.
✅ How young people can monetize digital media by effectively utilizing their skills.
The training was led by Abdijaliil Osman, a senior expert in digital media, who shared his expertise on how modern media can be leveraged to promote public engagement and facilitate sustainable change.
Participants had the opportunity to learn advanced skills, discuss the challenges and opportunities that digital media presents to society, and explore ways for journalists to enhance public engagement through transparent, informed, and community-responsive media.
We remain committed to strengthening public participation and developing youth skills to foster an independent media landscape that actively contributes to good governance and social development.
