Town Hall Meeting

Last night, ARDAAGA hosted a high-level analytical session that examined in depth the geopolitical rivalries in the Red Sea and their impact on Somalia’s security and long-term strategic future, as well as the wider Horn of Africa.

The forum brought together scholars and youth for an open discussion on the region’s complex situation, analyzing both the opportunities and risks arising from the competition among powers vying for influence in the Red Sea. The discussion focused on how Somalia can assume a strategic role within these changes, rather than remaining merely an arena of rivalry.

Guided by ARDAAGA’s philosophy of transforming knowledge into action, the session aimed to generate perspectives that promote informed decision-making, stability, and sustainable development.

In conclusion, the discussion underscored the necessity of developing a strategic vision grounded in knowledge, dialogue, and active participation. Such an approach enables the integration of intellectual insight and youth dynamism to achieve security, stability, and a better future.
